A 3 Step Guide To Changing Your Life

When we set our minds to it, it’s absolutely possible to make quantum leaps in our life. So many of us live life by default and this is where we fall into debt, the wrong relationships, misaligned jobs and our health begins to suffer. So how is it possible to change your life if there seem to be so many obstacles? The art of personal growth and self-improvement is about choosing to view your life through a different lens - through one that is heart-centred. From this place, this is where everything can begin to shift.

In today’s article, I’m going to offer you 3 ways to change your life today.

Accept Your Reality

The reason why so many people continue to live a life that doesn’t bring them fulfilment and what I call
real wealth, is that they’re unable to accept their reality, shine a light on it and feel those feelings. What do I mean by this? Taking your finances as an example, if you have debt, how do you truly feel about that debt? Do you know exactly how much debt you have and what is coming in and going out each month? Do you have a plan that you feel good about in order to pay off that debt? Or, are you avoiding it? Do you experience those spending hangovers that cripple you emotionally, yet you push them down and they just keep happening?

When life gets uncomfortable, our tendency is to stay in denial. This could also apply to relationships and health. To change your life, you need to accept your reality - but without any blame, shame or judgement. You have to approach it with compassion for yourself. You have to jump off that bridge and by that, I mean opening those bank statements, getting in the weeds and mapping out your debts and cash flows and most importantly, understanding
why you have developed the patterning around money that you have. Again, this is also the same for relationships and any part of your life where you continue to get the same undesired results.

The key to personal growth and to open the channels for manifestation, is cultivating radical self-awareness. To allow yourself to feel the emotions attached to your money and to identify why you have turned to debt instruments. What is the deeper reason for that? Tools such as meditation and journaling can be helpful ways to gain more clarity on these factors.

Create Expansion for Freedom & Flexibility

I believe it’s accurate to say that we will want to live a happy, fulfilled and abundant life. Real wealth is about a profound sense of freedom in
all areas of your life and to attain this, you need to have the power of choice. If you’re in a job that you hate, you’re probably only staying in that job because you don’t have the financial flexibility to take time to find something that’s fully aligned on a heart and soul level. Yes, this might be your current reality - as I have just mentioned above, but it doesn’t mean you are stuck! Far from it.

To create expansion and to open the channels of abundance whilst in the present moment, it’s crucial that you allow yourself to consider the possibilities. Is there a job that could be
more aligned to your dream job that you could look for? How can you map out the current flow of your money (your income and outgoings) to begin to become your own bank and create that financial flexibility to eventually leave your current job? Could you shift how you feel about your job and see it merely as a way to fund the bigger dream? Could you start a business or side-hustle that will enable you to live out your passion now and create more income?

Open the channels for expansion. Allow yourself to be on that bridge and you will soon feel a profound difference energetically and see this reflected back to you in your life.

Self improvement is largely about shifting your mindset and then taking the aligned action. This is about becoming the
CEO of your own life! The world today largely operates from a mindset of scarcity. You might be around people who also embody this sense of lack and who have found themselves stuck in the same jobs, relationships and lives they dislike, but that they have also become a victim to.

Your responsibility is to stay in your
own energy lane. You are responsible for everything that you have created in your life and so the great news is that you also have the limitless power to do things differently with this shift in mindset. You have to elevate your emotions and state to as high a vibration as possible (which is also why the acceptance piece that I spoke about earlier is so important to be able to get to this point). By continually cultivating self-awareness, this is where you will begin to make quantum leaps in your life.

Create a Long-Term Self-Care Plan

To truly change your life, master self improvement and take responsibility for your personal growth means taking care of yourself right now whilst also planning for your future. I have a video on what
long-term self-care looks like here and I deeply encourage you to watch this as I offer some key education around the choices available to you.

When you feel like your future is taken care of including how you want your finances to look, what insurance policies are available to consider and planning for your retirement and beyond, it offers you a sense of security that enables you to truly live in the
now being fully present.

Start putting these suggestions into practice and you can look forward to changing your life in profound ways!
