How to Take Your Manifestations to the Next Level

Are you feeling like the ‘same old same old’ is starting to feel……heavy?

If so, it’s time to create a new financial beginning for yourself! Now, it really doesn’t matter where you are starting from. What matters is that you get yourself energetically aligned financially and begin to create new choices that are planting the seeds for the life you want - and deserve to live!

I understand that this might feel a little overwhelming, so in this post today, I’m going to lay out all the tools you need to get started.

Perhaps you’re in a place where you know exactly how your cash flows. You might have already even received a pay rise or bonus and feel good about that extra money coming in! One of the positive outcomes of the pandemic is that it completely shifted our perception of what’s possible. People now feel more empowered and like they actually have choices.

Because they do - there are now more choices and possibilities available than ever!

It’s been fascinating to watch how employers are shifting how they are running their operations, workforces, and how they’re doing business in general. Hours have become more flexible, more employees have the flexibility to work from home and many employers have become aware of the ‘holistic’ and wellbeing side of business.

So, my question to you is: are you going to now choose your new beginnings and stay focused on what's really true for you? I have a hunch that if you’re reading this you've probably started to wake up a couple of things inside of yourself!

What I want to do today is challenge you. Yes, you know me - I love a challenge!

How to Set Up Your New Financial Beginning

Before you get that tax return, pay rise, bonus, or before you receive any of what I call ‘New Found Money’, instead of simply spending it in the present moment, use it to plant the seeds for tomorrow.

When I work with clients, I explain that there are 3 parts to setting up a new financial beginning.

These are:

1) Your financial past. This is your debts

2) Your financial present. This is the cash coming into your checking account and the cash going out. Think of this like your current cash flow.

3) Your financial future. This could be structured in short-term timelines such as emergencies, midterm timelines which are in-between, or long-term such as your retirement.

I have many videos on the components of these parts - and we really take time to drill down on each in my group coaching classes, but right now, I want you to decide what your new financial beginning looks like for you.

If you pay off your car this year, what do you usually do with that money? Or, if could be paying off your student loan. Using myself as an example, my eighth grader was recently accepted into a high school where I'm going to be saving around $1200 a month in tuition. So, for my new beginning, I need to decide what financial intentions that extra money is going to fund.

What many people tend to do is put any New Found Money in their present-moment bucket and spend it immediately. There isn’t anything wrong with this - it might fund a new experience or adventure that you desire at the current moment. At the same time, however, it might not fulfill your intention of cleaning up your financial past (your debts).

So, what’s important here is that you intentionally allocate your New Found Money to cleaning up your past while also living in the present moment, and planning for the future all at the same time.

Why do this? Well, it keeps your nervous system in neutral and it avoids triggering your ‘not enough’ or ‘I’m not worthy’ buttons.

You want to work towards building a financial infrastructure that makes you feel safe and avoids triggering any shame, blame, guilt, or judgment you have around money.

Cleaning Up My Own Financial Past

Let’s use my $1200 example. I will take $400 more per month to pay off my debts in the form of my mortgage and student loan. Although many believe these to be ‘good debts’, they’re still keeping me from living fully in the present moment. Therefore, I want to use a portion of this New Found Money towards getting those paid down!

I'm also going to allocate an extra $400 towards my mortgage payment because it’s a personal goal to have my mortgage paid off by the time my son graduates high school. Ideally, I wanted to have it paid off sooner, but life happened, including my divorce, which came with extra costs. Although I didn’t gain financially, what I did gain was emotional freedom. Therefore, as long as I know I’m intentionally still working towards paying off my mortgage, I feel safe despite the timeline changing.

Your Next Action Steps

So for you, I’d like you to take a look at what it is you want for your new financial beginning before your New Found Money comes to you. Choose to set your intentions and plant those seeds in the direction that you want to go!

If we don't shift where our money energy is going, nothing is going to change and you know that you deserve better. You deserve more and the key to powerful manifestation is by setting these intentions and planting the seeds for the future you want to create!
