How to Take Your Manifestations to the Next Level

The path to becoming wealthy starts with choosing your mindset around your financial life. If you want to become a millionaire, then embodying the mindset of a millionaire is key!

However, there’s a big difference between wanting to become a millionaire for the sake of the numbers; always chasing more yet feeling a sadness or void in other areas of life (I call this group of people ‘Rich but Empty’), and choosing a life of Real Wealth where money is in abundance.

This is where your money and how it flows to you harmoniously intertwines with the other core parts of your life such as your relationships, work and health. Living a life of Real Wealth ultimately means living a life that you love!

So let’s say you’re asking how to be wealthy in 5 years from now. Well, first of all, are you creating the energetic space for that to happen?

Do You Have Awareness of the Flow of Your Money?

A millionaire mindset means creating full awareness of everything that’s coming in and going out financially. Really getting into the nitty gritty of your finances can be overwhelming if you’ve avoided it, but once you lay it all out and gain an understanding of what you have coming in and going out on a monthly basis - and review this regularly, you can accept the reality of your finances.

You can create the energetic space to make more empowered decisions about how exactly you want it to flow.

Create Financial Flexibility

When people ask me how to be wealthy in your 20’s, learning how to create financial flexibility is crucial. Building those financial muscles and intentionally structuring your finances in a way that cleans up your financial past if you have one, live in the present moment and build your financial future - and potentially
your generational wealth, all at the same time.

If you’re struggling with fears around debt (your financial past), although it can be tempting to want to pay it all down as quickly as possible, this is about looking at the bigger picture of your life and creating space to be able to live in the present moment.

Building financial flexibility and a safe container so that if unexpected expenses come in, or something in your life happens, you have the ability and funds available to take care of it. You don’t have to default back to debt and repeat your financial past over and over.

This means looking at your income and dividing it so that you’re addressing any debt, while also funding your mid-term cash flow intentions and additionally allocating to your financial future.

Millionaires and those who embody the essence of Real Wealth understand that making space for this financial flexibility is the foundation of building sustainable wealth. And it doesn’t matter where you’re starting from.

If you can only fund these intentions with a minimal amount each month (and ensure it’s done on autopilot so you don’t negotiate yourself away!), energetically you’re showing the universe that you’re stepping into your power. That you’re being intentional about creating the life you want to live.

It’s then amazing how the opportunities for attracting more wealth start to show up! Trust me on that one!

I have many resources available on creating financial flexibility with my
books and courses and group and individual coaching

Embody the Mindset of Abundance

The difference between a rich vs wealthy mindset is one of abundance and joy. It means more than just the numbers. Creating sustainable wealth means listening to your heart as opposed to plugging into all the financial noise and ‘chasing’.

It means knowing that
you are the creator of your life and that when you follow what you love and stay in alignment every step of the way, you begin to open doors for opportunity in the most incredible ways.

An abundance mindset is one of ‘more’. Being very clear and intentional about how much you’d like to earn and attract in, but being open to how this can show up.

Exploring passive income opportunities that excite you could be one example and knowing that if you have a dream and then align it with your current reality, you can take those steps to achieve anything you desire.

The journey to
becoming wealthy won’t happen overnight, but when you work on building it from the inside out, leading with your heart (the magnetic force of which stretches 8 miles!), you can attract the most profound opportunities, people and situations into your life.

Reduce Financial Drama

Our financial worlds have become so complex - what with tax codes, investment accounts, credit cards, rates of interest, store credit cards……there are so many options that we easily get distracted by.

Or maybe you’re merging your money with a partner and feeling uncertain about the potential complications.

Perhaps you’re overwhelmed by all the investment options out there.

So this is about creating financial simplicity in
your world and with my Julie Murphy work, this is the core of what I teach. Deciding that you want to spend less time being distracted by all these external factors and instead, focusing on what you actually like to do in your life!

Deciding that instead of defaulting into financial decisions dictated by something or someone on the outside, you choose the ones from a neutral and grounded place that feel right to
you

All the financial drama and chaos out there doesn’t give us the opportunity to step back and build our financial muscles to make choices that align with the life we actually want to live.

So we have to go back to simplicity. And I’m a financial planner who loves a menu of options! But I’m also about creating financial simplicity to make space for happiness in your life. A basic example of financial simplicity could be operating on a cash basis and drawing money out of your account at the start of the week. Once it’s gone it’s gone.

It’s these small, conscious choices to only plug into what’s aligned with the life of Real Wealth you want to live, that really move the needle on your journey to a life of financial freedom!

As someone who has guided countless clients toward true wealth, I know how crucial it is to build financial stability, especially in times like these. And that’s where my approach, outlined in my first book, "The Emotion Behind Money" , comes into play. In my work, I emphasize that wealth isn’t just about numbers—it's about what's happening inside you as much as what's happening around you. The Emotion Behind Money is all about building wealth from the inside out, which means bringing your authentic self to the forefront of your financial decisions. When your money is aligned with who you truly are, you create a foundation that can withstand even the most uncertain times. Feeling anxious about the future—whether it’s due to financial, economic, or inflation-related concerns—is a common experience. But often, that anxiety signals that your money isn’t set up in alignment with your authentic self. When this alignment is off, it’s easy to feel ungrounded and uncertain. I’ve seen this time and again in my work as a financial planner, and I’m here to help you shift from anxiety to assurance by realigning your financial life with who you really are. Let’s face it: the economic landscape is challenging right now. Inflation is driving up costs on essentials like gas, food, and education. Interest rates are climbing, and while wage growth might seem positive, it can have long-term consequences for the economy. It’s easy to get caught up in these concerns, but I believe there’s a better way to approach them. The Outside vs. The Inside When we think about wealth, we often focus on external factors: the stock market, interest rates, inflation, job security, and so on. These things are important, but they’re only part of the picture. What’s going on inside you—your beliefs, values, and emotions —plays an equally crucial role in your financial stability. If you’re feeling anxious about the future, it might be a sign that your finances aren’t fully aligned with your true self . When you’re not grounded in your financial decisions, it’s easy to feel out of control and overwhelmed by external events. But when your money is set up in a way that reflects who you are and what you value, you’ll find that you can navigate uncertainty with much more confidence and peace of mind. Creating Financial Space One of the most important steps you can take to create financial stability is to build financial space. This means having enough room in your budget to handle unexpected expenses, economic downturns, or other financial challenges without feeling panicked. Start by taking a close look at your current financial situation. Are there areas where you could reduce your debt? Are there expenses you could eliminate or cut back on? By making these adjustments, you can free up cash flow that can be redirected into savings or investments, creating a buffer that will protect you in times of uncertainty. I’ve created a Cashflow Worksheet to help you get started on this journey. You can download it here . Another crucial aspect of creating financial space is to avoid taking on unnecessary debt. For example, many people take out loans from their 401K accounts, thinking it’s a quick fix. But in the long run, this can lead to more financial stress. Instead, focus on building up your savings so that you have the cash on hand to cover unexpected expenses without resorting to credit cards or loans. Empower Your Choices A big part of building financial stability is recognizing that you have a choice in how you manage your money. It’s easy to feel like a victim of the system, especially when you’re facing financial pressure. But when you realize that you have the power to make decisions that align with your values and goals, you take control of your financial future. For example, instead of feeling like you "have to" use credit cards to cover expenses, reframe it as a choice. If you truly need to use credit, do so with intention and a plan to pay it off quickly. But if it’s possible to avoid it, choose to do so. This simple shift in mindset can make a huge difference in how you feel about your financial situation. Insulate Yourself from Economic Uncertainty We can’t control what’s happening in the global economy, but we can take steps to insulate ourselves from its effects. This starts with being proactive about your finances. By setting up your money in a way that aligns with your true self, you create a foundation that can weather any storm. Whether it’s building up your savings, reducing your debt, or making thoughtful financial choices, every step you take toward financial stability helps to create a sense of security. And that security isn’t just about having more money in the bank—it’s about knowing that you’re in control of your financial future, no matter what happens in the world around you.
