The Journey To Financial Freedom

How to Take Your Manifestations to the Next Level

What does financial freedom mean to you?

I ask this because many people get distracted by what they believe financial freedom should look like. This is usually dictated by external factors such as society, parents, co-workers, friends…..

It’s also dictated by how we’ve been subconsciously conditioned to think about money. These beliefs are often created by the time we’re just 7 years old.

And so as you’ve progressed through life, have you lost sight of what actually makes you happy? What brings you joy?

If you were to now unplug from all the ‘noise’, and allow yourself to dream the dream, what would financial freedom mean to
you?

What choices would it allow you to make?

How would you like your income to flow to you?

Where would you be living and what would you do on a day to day basis?

I want you to dream that dream and understand that it can become a reality! So let’s now look at how you can begin your own journey to financial freedom.

Accepting Your Reality

The next step after dreaming the dream is to then align that with your current reality.

You have to be willing to accept your current financial reality, whilst shifting your mindset to one of expansion and being open to new possibilities.

Affirmations for financial freedom can be incredibly helpful in this process. A powerful example:

‘I am the creator of my life’

You are absolutely the creator of your life and
financial freedom means embodying this on every level. It means stepping into what the reality of your finances look like in the present moment and choosing to work through the emotions and feelings from a place of neutrality.

It means doing this without any blame, shame, guilt or judgment.

A good way to begin accepting your reality is to write out and fully break down your cash flow and expenses. Make sure to include everything including your utility bills, rent or mortgage, cell phone bill, online and offline subscriptions, groceries and travel costs.

Break these down monthly, weekly and daily. Once you have this clear visual representation, you can quickly start to see where you might want to make changes.

What expenses do you feel weighed down by or know that you could live without? If so, choose from an empowered place to let them go.

In contrast, does your morning latte bring you joy or make you smile? Well, that’s what we need to keep in!

Remember, this is about
expansion!

Now, take the same approach with your debts. Could any be reduced to 0% interest for the next 18 months? A phone call to your bank could easily result in a much better outcome than you imagine!

By taking these empowered actions, you’re consciously taking control of your financial reality and building those financial muscles in the process.

Build The Muscle of Holding Money

The energy of true financial freedom is one of abundance. I appreciate you probably won’t hear many financial freedom advisors talk about energy when it comes to finances, but I know how it’s the foundation for Real Wealth and I explore this extensively in my
courses, books and coaching programs

Let me ask you; do you find yourself able to earn money and perhaps even consider yourself income affluent, but still have leaky financial containers in the form of being unable to hold that money?

Does it seem to go out the door quicker than it comes in?

Are you still swiping your credit card without much thought?

If so, your journey to financial freedom will involve building that muscle to be able to hold money.

A simple way to do this is to create more financial simplicity and take cash out every week to account for what you need.

It’s incredible how when we hand over cash for something, it creates more awareness of our spending choices - it triggers more of an emotional response and enables us to consider whether that choice is fully aligned.

You could also try keeping a $50 note (or whatever amount feels right to you) in your purse or wallet and not spending it. This cash is your symbol of abundance and every time you see it, I want you to really tune in to that energy.

Step Into The Tests

When we’re evolving, going through a period of growth and peeling away those emotional layers, we will be tested along the way!

The more you observe these tests and recognize your old patterns around money - such as overspending or defaulting back to debt instruments and choosing instead, to stay in full alignment with the life of financial freedom you want to create, the stronger that muscle will become.

This is when the quantum leaps happen and you take your manifestations to the next level!

These tests only show up to allow you to become the true master of your soul. When you’re not heading in the direction of your soul, this is when a crisis comes in - whether that be in your finances, health or relationships to shift you away.

So embrace the tests and step into them from a place of empowerment!

Follow What Feels Light & Expansive

In everything you do and with all decisions you’re faced with, the
journey to financial freedom means following what feels the lightest and most expansive.

This is again, about stepping away from the external distractions and tuning in to what feels right, joyful and aligned to you.

You have to keep following your giggle! If something makes you smile or brings you joy, follow it and see where it leads! Don’t underestimate the power of this.

When we follow our giggle, we open up, we expand and we allow people, opportunities and money to flow in in the most unexpected of ways!

With everything you do on your own journey to financial freedom, it’s about awakening more of your authenticity. Living the life that
you want to live and being open to how that might show up along the way.

As someone who has guided countless clients toward true wealth, I know how crucial it is to build financial stability, especially in times like these. And that’s where my approach, outlined in my first book, "The Emotion Behind Money" , comes into play. In my work, I emphasize that wealth isn’t just about numbers—it's about what's happening inside you as much as what's happening around you. The Emotion Behind Money is all about building wealth from the inside out, which means bringing your authentic self to the forefront of your financial decisions. When your money is aligned with who you truly are, you create a foundation that can withstand even the most uncertain times. Feeling anxious about the future—whether it’s due to financial, economic, or inflation-related concerns—is a common experience. But often, that anxiety signals that your money isn’t set up in alignment with your authentic self. When this alignment is off, it’s easy to feel ungrounded and uncertain. I’ve seen this time and again in my work as a financial planner, and I’m here to help you shift from anxiety to assurance by realigning your financial life with who you really are. Let’s face it: the economic landscape is challenging right now. Inflation is driving up costs on essentials like gas, food, and education. Interest rates are climbing, and while wage growth might seem positive, it can have long-term consequences for the economy. It’s easy to get caught up in these concerns, but I believe there’s a better way to approach them. The Outside vs. The Inside When we think about wealth, we often focus on external factors: the stock market, interest rates, inflation, job security, and so on. These things are important, but they’re only part of the picture. What’s going on inside you—your beliefs, values, and emotions —plays an equally crucial role in your financial stability. If you’re feeling anxious about the future, it might be a sign that your finances aren’t fully aligned with your true self . When you’re not grounded in your financial decisions, it’s easy to feel out of control and overwhelmed by external events. But when your money is set up in a way that reflects who you are and what you value, you’ll find that you can navigate uncertainty with much more confidence and peace of mind. Creating Financial Space One of the most important steps you can take to create financial stability is to build financial space. This means having enough room in your budget to handle unexpected expenses, economic downturns, or other financial challenges without feeling panicked. Start by taking a close look at your current financial situation. Are there areas where you could reduce your debt? Are there expenses you could eliminate or cut back on? By making these adjustments, you can free up cash flow that can be redirected into savings or investments, creating a buffer that will protect you in times of uncertainty. I’ve created a Cashflow Worksheet to help you get started on this journey. You can download it here . Another crucial aspect of creating financial space is to avoid taking on unnecessary debt. For example, many people take out loans from their 401K accounts, thinking it’s a quick fix. But in the long run, this can lead to more financial stress. Instead, focus on building up your savings so that you have the cash on hand to cover unexpected expenses without resorting to credit cards or loans. Empower Your Choices A big part of building financial stability is recognizing that you have a choice in how you manage your money. It’s easy to feel like a victim of the system, especially when you’re facing financial pressure. But when you realize that you have the power to make decisions that align with your values and goals, you take control of your financial future. For example, instead of feeling like you "have to" use credit cards to cover expenses, reframe it as a choice. If you truly need to use credit, do so with intention and a plan to pay it off quickly. But if it’s possible to avoid it, choose to do so. This simple shift in mindset can make a huge difference in how you feel about your financial situation. Insulate Yourself from Economic Uncertainty We can’t control what’s happening in the global economy, but we can take steps to insulate ourselves from its effects. This starts with being proactive about your finances. By setting up your money in a way that aligns with your true self, you create a foundation that can weather any storm. Whether it’s building up your savings, reducing your debt, or making thoughtful financial choices, every step you take toward financial stability helps to create a sense of security. And that security isn’t just about having more money in the bank—it’s about knowing that you’re in control of your financial future, no matter what happens in the world around you.
