Many people, like you, feel that motivation is a barrier. Perhaps you get excited at dreaming the big dream but when it comes to following through and taking the action, this is where the old routines, habits, thoughts and feelings take over and you find yourself back in the old cycle. That spur of excitement and motivation rapidly dwindles.
I hear you and I get it. So I’m now going to show you how to overcome it and actually begin to plant those
seeds for change and for what you want to create!
I firstly want you to change your perspective on this idea of motivation. Instead of asking how to motivate yourself to change your life, I want you to look at it through a different lens.
Because here’s the thing; it isn’t really about motivation at all.
Of course we don’t feel motivated because if we’re not making choices from our heart, in alignment and ones that allow us to expand into the life we want to create, we have nothing to ground ourselves in.
Instead, we often operate from our left, logical brain and react to the world around us, leading to debt, to jobs we don’t like, relationships that drain us and of course, our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health is only a reflection of all of these things accumulated. We stay in our suffering patterns and continue to plug into the things that lower our vibration.
To change your life for the better, it’s about unplugging and taking those small steps to really focus on the bigger picture of what you want to create, and those things that land in your heart.
And the things that make you giggle! That feel easy, expansive and joyful!

Picturing yourself is unplugging from the noise of the world, of other people, of your partner, kids, boss and society and dropping down into your heart. Allowing yourself to picture yourself in the reality that is fully aligned with your soul. Oftentimes this feeling of ‘lack of motivation’ is because you’re striving to live a life you don’t actually love and so of course, the actions just don’t stick.
This is now your opportunity to dream differently! To dream the life you
want to create.
Accepting Your Reality & Awakening Your Authenticity is about creating that space by accepting what you’ve already attracted in your life. The debt, the job, the health, the relationships - all of it. Now, I get this is a tough pill to swallow - I really do! But the acceptance piece is what opens up the emotional space and actually, one of the most important parts of how to motivate yourself to change your life.
Why? Because we have so much resistance to acceptance. Yet, it’s the key to the breakthrough.
Choosing to Change is then coming from that place in your heart and accepting the reality of what you have created in your life, you now choose to respond differently to be in full alignment with what you want to manifest, attract and build.
As you are
choosing, you don’t need to even think about motivation! If reducing your debt means choosing to change the structure of your finances, this is coming from a place of empowerment and joy. You are choosing to feel safe to hold money, to not overspend and to build your wealth.
You are choosing to create more
work balance, to fuel and nourish your body to a place of better health, you are choosing to stand in your power and start doing more of what you love!
And finally, Take Action is where you take the practical steps. Think of this like learning to build those muscles. It will feel strange at first but this is a great thing! It means your energy is shifting.
Every time you shift and shed those old layers, your manifestations get bigger and you’re building the muscle of expansion. When you change your behaviors, when you change the structure of how you do things and when you open up in your heart, just watch how things come in! Just watch what can change in your life!
You are not flawed, you don’t need to be healed, you just need to open up. This is the essence of how to change your life for the better.
So motivation, who needs that?!
